Movie Review: Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar!

Complicating Your Status by being jhoothi and makkaar!

Luv Ranjan is a name known for his Romantic Comedies- of course the generation cannot forget “Pyaar Ka Punchnama”. Carrying forward his legacy into film making, he brings “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” on your platter this year. A never seen before jodi, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor is the main USP of the film.

“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” has a light hearted yet emotionally compact plot. A little relatable screenplay, it showcases how the emotion of love, family, and self- love has affected the times. The film altogether does not demand too much of your attention. But it really has some cute moments that leave you a little ticklish. The surprise factor in the FILAM is Boney Kapoor, who shares the screen space in very few scenes but has been able to attract me throughout-  with his poker face and simple acting skills. Ranbir and Shraddha are good enough. It is a pleasure to see Dimple Kapadia in the FILAM. Stand- Up comedian Bassi has also been fair enough for the screenplay. 

A special mention for the airport climax of the movie. I loved the way it was drafted by the makers. You can definitely watch “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar ” this weekend. Just remember not to keep your expectations too high. That’s what made me find it likable.
