Antim: Movie Review!

A screenplay that sucks till it’s end!

How does it feel when your high hopes are squeezed under a weak story-line and a bad screenplay? It feels like an Antim chance- you’re watching this actor on the big screen. That’s what happened to me, when I watched Aayush’s Antim.

Highly promoted Jija-sala jodi (brothers-in-law) Aayush Sharma, and Salman Khan, sadly could not save the FILAM. How these big banners create a bubble of success around them to come under the list of Box Office Hit. All the hype created around Aayush Sharma stating, ‘’A star is born’’, appears so FAKE to me. Yes, he has worked hard, but his effort of being known as a successful actor is so evident in Antim, that it actually brings forth Aayush Sharma time and again, and you forget Rahuliya- the character. At least I did! Also what I did not like was how unsuccessfully a religious robe has been given to Salman’s character. Dialogues are SAD! No scene generated that catastrophic awesome feeling that probably the makers had expected from the audience. Except the one when Rahuliya is shot.

It also feels sad to watch actors like Jisshu Sen accepting a character like Pitya, just to be a part of HINDI FILAM Industry. 

What would remain with me from the film, is the small presence of Mahesh Manjrekar’s character and the twist in the ANTIM part of the FILAM i.e the END. Apart from these two things- I strongly feel- Antim is one of the worst films of Salman Khan’s career, and can prove to fetch some more work for Aayush Sharma, probably from Salman Khan’s Production itself.
